This is coming up under a search for Linux games. There only seems to be a download for Mac and Windows. Can this be played on Linux?

from the logos next to the downloads, it seems like they mislabeled the mac build as linux.

so i dont think so sadly but it should run well enough in wine

Hello friend, I really love your art style and previous game so wanna buy this one but have a question. If I buy this game will you give me a steam version on launch or I will have to buy steam version again, Thanks for paying attention!

I am unable to launch this on my Mac. The error message simply says that the application cannot be opened. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hey there, sorry to hear youre having trouble with opening the game.

I sadly dont have a mac to test this on but i did some research and there are a couple of fixes for this error that you could try:

Check your security settings and or file permissions to see if its not being blocked by anything.

Maybe the file got corrupted somehow, so maybe redownload?

Lastly, maybe your OS needs to be updated?

Sorry if youve tried all of these already but i cant test these things myself :(  maybe theres someone in our discord that has mac who can help with this issue!

Hope you get to play the game soon!!

I was able to fix it by using a different app to unzip the download

very good game, I really liked the combos that can be made. I hope the update for control soon (or if there is, it would be very good) one more follower ^^

Also is this a template for making a game and is there Rollback netcode, did you code it all???

hi there, yes i did code this all myself. It does not have rollback netcode, which is why we need funding/ a publisher to het that in the game! No this is not built off of a template btw :]

Your Looking For a Publisher what about a collaboration I think this has potential

When are the other characters coming?

(+2)

Slime is a character that was temporarily removed but theyll be back along with the steam release and some other updates aswel

(+1)(-1)

Did I download the wrong version? The character select looks completely different in the videos

(+1)

the videos you see are probably outdated, you have the right version for sure!

when button configuration?

(+1)

very soon! along with steam release.

Ok thanks! Great game btw. Some small balance issues but everything else is good!

(-1)

i cant download it

(-1)

is this game abandoned

as leo said?

The dev is working on an updated version to be released on Steam.

Love seeing fresh and high quality indie fighters here. Good luck to y'all. I'll be sure to recommend this to as many people as I can

I bought the game just recentely but it seems I only got a demo of it without options or anything

Oh is this game abandonne

A question, I wanna try out the game but I see that it will soon be released on Steam. Will people who bought the game through itchio receive Steam copies as well?

(-3)

what i have an OC named arcus

can you bring a version for android? please

Is there a way we can play on the browser?

Is there any way to use a controller without external programs such as JoyToKey? The game won't respond to controller inputs and this game looks really cool and I want to play it!

My controllers just work fine. I use a playstation 4 controller, but xbox etc should work as well

(1 edit)

how do I play as the other characters in the "indigo build" they're all greyed out

edit: nvm

just select them they're actually playable

Can't wait for the next update! OwO I had a blast streaming this several months ago!

You can try Tribute games or Yachtclub games. Both of which have had a good track record of producing their own games. The art style you're using could be right up their alley. By which i mean, they may be interested in publishing your game if you contact either of them.

Really unique as an indie fighter. Simple mechanics that ease into the potential complexities of wild combos. Very easy to pick up and play with a couple of friends without needing to hours just to grasp the controls. Honestly, I could see this being a real sleeper hit when it eventually but readily makes it onto other outlets. Do yourself a favor and give it a try as it is now because it's cheap if ya don't like it, but if you do you might as well get in some early practice. Fun game, recommended.

thank you so much for your kind words! glad your experience aligned with my goal :D

(+1)

did your game was created in Godot or in which game engine?

(+1)

Unity

(+4)

Hey the game will be released on steam? cause i live in Argentina and it is complicated to us to buy things in other sites. The game looks awesome

(+3)

Thank you for the compliment. I hope to release that game on steam yes. But no date for release yet

(+2)

I live in The US, would I be able to buy this game?

I thought I would ask just to make sure.

It should work fine, it did for me and I'm also in the US

(1 edit)

Thanks! I wanted to make sure.

I guess I was a little confused, I figured the price would be converted to my local currency (USD) given I live in the states for one thing, I dunno.

(+1)(-1)

is there a way to configure the button layout on keyboard

(+1)(-8)

When will this game be updated again and if you have no plans on continuing the game would it be possible to release the source files in order for others to continue on the work. This game has a lot of potential but it doesn’t seem to be getting worked on at the moment. Thanks!

(+1)(-7)

agreed

(+9)

This line of commenting makes NO sense. GxGrain is a hardworking solo dev and if you guys would have just checked their twitter you would have seen that this game is fully in development.

Asking for the source files is some major entitlement.

(1 edit) (+8)

Thanks for clarifying for me. Yes the game is still in development. You can follow me on twitter to stay up to date woth whats going on. Atm there are alot of things going on behind the scenes :)

This is an incredibly good game and well worth your money. Is what I would be saying if not for some small things that I would really kill for them to get done. One thing in particular is the lack of a move list. I really dislike how you kind of have to navigate each character blindly. There's other things but that is my biggest criticism right now.

Thank you for the feedback! A moveslist is the next thing ill be adding. I agree that it should have been in the game a long time ago.

I've been wanting to make a fighting game for a while now and this is by far one of the most inspiring games I've seen in the genre. The game I wanted to make had little to no emphasis on jumping and have more expanded ground movement, but I was unsure if that would even work. After playing this game I can honestly say that in execution these kinds of things are totally viable.  I don't mean to exaggerate but this is how you innovate fighting games. This is basically all the inspiration I needed to tart working on my own project, thanks man.

To quote the man himself:

"Fuck a jump button, gimme that dodge."

-WoolieVersus

Hey, love the game so far but I saw a comment in which you said you added a moves list but it looks like there is no moves list available as of right now. Anyway you could just link it or make it available?

Hey! I'm having trouble actually playing the game. Are there keyboard controls? I can't get past the title screen

nvm I can't actually play this

this game is aswome you should buy

Absolutely loved the game the minute I started playing around with it. I didn't expect it to feel so smooth, you can feel the weight of each hit and it makes comboing really fun overall. Can't wait to see what's new in the coming updates

genuine question is making an engine switch the main reason for such a large delay?

(+1)

The art here is both great and innovative. Most Pixel Art fighting games have large detailed sprites but here you've gone for smaller characters with more flat colours. The Art pops in its own right but it also pops out from the horde of other fighting games. Great Job!

aww thank you for the kind words ^^

Hey, did you know you can add non-steam games to Steam and use controller configs if you launch the game via steam? Basically, if you add it as a non-steam game to your steam library, any steam compatible controller can be used for the game. Also, can't afford it but looks nice.

Deleted 2 years ago

thanks for the tip! currently working on an engine switch which will have button config ^^

On my game, the options are greyed out and I can't seem to do anything about that. Other than that, 5/5 stars.

Me and my buds love doing AI tourneys where we use CPU vs CPU modes in the few fighting games that have them and make AI's fight each other similar to salty bet. CPU vs CPU mode would be awesome to see. Great stuff so far btw!

linux build would be awesome
